OKRs are a goal setting framework: an objective states what you want to achieve, and two to five measurable key results show whether you achieved it.
Objectives are qualitative and inspiring; key results are numbers. OKRs are usually set each quarter and connect day to day work to company goals.
Example
Objective: make onboarding effortless. Key results: time to first project under 5 minutes; 60% of new teams invite a teammate in week one; onboarding support tickets down 30%.
OKRs and project work
Link each key result to the epics that move it, so the team sees why its work matters. In Starlex, keep OKRs in a project page and plan the epics on the Gantt chart.
