A sprint is a short, fixed period, usually one to four weeks, in which a Scrum team completes a chosen set of work and produces a usable result.
Each sprint starts with sprint planning and ends with a review and a retrospective. The length stays the same from sprint to sprint so the team builds a steady rhythm and learns its velocity.
The sprint goal
A good sprint has a single goal that explains why its work matters, for example "customers can pay by card". The goal helps the team decide what to drop if something takes longer than expected.
Sprints in Starlex
Create a sprint with dates and a goal, drag issues in from the backlog, and the board focuses on it. See how sprints work in Starlex.
